Director & Head Coach
Dan is the co-founder of Glevum.
Dan began his journey with CrossFit in 2009, following a break from his years of school & club Rugby. Dan has been a strength and conditioning coach since 2011, and since then has coached and designed programs for hundreds of athletes.
His duties at the gym include directing programs for all of our training groups, something in which he takes great pride, and is ALWAYS trying to analyse, improve, and progress.
Outside of the gym, Dan enjoys spending time with his family & dog, music, good books, and pizza.
Fabulous people, great coaches who invest time and effort in helping you to achieve things you never thought possible. Love this place.
I’ve made some incredible friends and I get to workout with some of the most positive and inspiring people every day. It’s not just a workout you get here it’s support and encouragement from some absolutely amazing coaches and along with this you get to do things you never dreamt you would be able to do.
I have achieved a fitness level I didn’t think I was capable of since joining Glevum. Due to the support of the coaches and the great equipment available I am anyways pushing myself further and further. All with the added bonus of making lots of new friends!
For me Glevum has been the nearest thing to playing a team sport. I joined Glevum to get fit but it’s the community feel that has kept me there. The atmosphere really is superb. I had always thought that CrossFit was for the elite but in reality Glevum caters for all.
Initially I was worried about being intimidated by people far fitter and stronger than me as I have never felt comfortable in the gym using weights. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the coaching you get is great. Fabulous place, fabulous people.
I’m stronger and fitter than ever. I love the variety, technical instruction, team spirit, group workout, challenge, option of competition, inspiration of the very fit, multitude of skills to learn, friendly fun & encouraging coaching, whole body functional workouts and that it’s not elitist.
